If you think particular foods are ‘naughty’, I’d suggest you’re on the wrong diet.
I’m (kinda — I’m not too fussed about a snack when Jen makes something delicious during the week) on the http://www.nosdiet.com .

    Interesting read,
Thanks Ian! I might merge the two forms together.

I really enjoy the diet I’m on as it gives me a full meal plan, and I legitimately feel better when I follow it.

I just feel a bit bad (physically) after eating certain foods, and chinese is one of them, because of the oil content.
other things that make me feel bad are, yes you guessed it, sugary foods.
I’ve noticed, particularly when I’m at the caves, if I’ve eaten something sugary for breakfast (poptarts for example) I break out in sweats and am incredibly less fit than I usually am, walking up all those stairs.

But that’s why I call them naughty, because I know the affect they have on my body, yet I still insist on eating them.

how is the Noes Diet working for you?

    It’s ok.
Only been doing it for a week or so, and I’m not incredibly strict about it.
For instance, at Bible study tonight I will probably have some biscuits, and won’t worry about it. Also, Jen made Jelly for the kids on Monday afternoon, and they were pretty keen on me eating some, so I did :)

But in general, it’s good to just have a name for something so when I’m bored and get up to get something to eat, I just think “no, it’s not Saturday/Sunday yet”.

I haven’t mentioned that I’m doing it to Jen though. Please don’t tell her.

That’s another bonus – I don’t have to make it obvious that I’m “dieting”.
It’s more about getting into good habits for the rest of my life. Hopefully.
